New Construction Guide To Canyons Village At Park City Resort
As one of the fastest growing resorts in North America, Park City Resort is seeing significant growth within the Canyons Village area of the ski resort formerly known as "Canyons Resort". Now owned and operated by Vail Resorts, the rapid expansion of the Canyons Village is taking place at a staggering pace with multiple construction projects ongoing and many more planned to come in the next few years. Keeping track of the newest and latest developments in the area is almost impossible to grasp from afar. With numerous new developments, hotels, townhouses, and more all on the market at any given time it takes an in-depth look at the area to figure out the pros and cons of each new location being released. We're seeing many new high end hotel brands coming to market from Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott expanding their presence in the Park City community.

Canyons Village Master Plan Expansion Recap
The master plan for the Canyons Village area consists primary in two distinct areas. The upper village costs of everything centered around the main Gondola, Orange Bubble Lift, and Sunrise Lift. The Lower Village area consists of the property around the Frostwood Gondola and over the the main parking lot and people mover at the base entry of the resort. This is a joint expansion project between Vail Resorts, Replay Resorts, and TCFC. These companies have been a part of making large resorts like Whistler and Vail a reality and they are now focused on creating the same level of amenities and access throughout the Canyons Village. With additional amenities and creating a more walkable village area with commercial space being added this is going to greatly increase tcirability to own property in this area once completed.
New & Under Construction Projects
One of the newest developments within the Canyons Village, Apex Residences, advertises itself as "an exclusive collection of architecturally stunning ski-in ski-out homes". Built by Columbus Pacific and designed by Think Architecture who created one of the most visually appealing modern contemporary projects in the Village area. These units offer incredible ski access with a trail coming right next to the door which will take you down the hill to the base area. Apex offers multiple configurations within 63 total units from townhouses to stacked condominiums within three different rows of buildings. The operations of the development will be managed by Vail Resorts. The clubhouse will include a 50ft swimming pool, outdoor spa and splash pad, fitness room, game room, concierge services, and more.

Pendry Residences Park City
Pendry Residences, a Montage brand hotel, is the newest addition to the Canyons Village master plan that is set to be one of the nicest developments in the area and selling for record prices per square foot for the area. With high end construction, superior amenities, and ski front location this has everything one could be looking for in a ski vacation property. Set between three different buildings are 150 luxurious units with access to amenities like rooftop pool area, state of the art fitness center, kids club, and much more for it's owners and guests. The Ascent Hotel
The Ascent hotel in Park City is a new release which will be a Tapestry Collection offering from the Hilton hotel brand. Located in the Lower Canyons Village area with ski access utilized by the Frostwood Gondola this new hotel offers 120 units starting at $300k. Located on the 11th fairway of the Canyons Village golf course this new development will offer great golf and ski run views from many areas of the building and will be a great addition to the village as a higher end hotel with fairly entry level pricing for the area. The Ridge at Canyons Village
Within the upper village area is a new development taking shape at The Ridge. These will be a row of 44 townhomes that are somewhat a unique offering in an area dominated by stacked condominium products in the upper village area. The Viridian townhomes are located in the lower canyons village area just below the Waldorf Astoria and situated on the 11th hole of the Canyons Golf Course. As one of the newer condo hotel brands to hit the market, YotelPAD will offer 144 uniquely designed spaces to maximize square footage in what are predominantly very small units. The idea here is to maximize community living space and entertaining and optimize the rooms for sleeping and only necessities. They are marketing themselves as “High Performance Resort Living”. Since you are here to ski or golf and stay in the mountains you should be spending most of your time outside and that is what YotelPAD is planning on. These units are within walking distance to the Red Pine Gondola for quick ski access and located just off of the main plaza level where the majority of the commercial space including restaurants and bars are located. For those familiar with the area, the building is located just below the Grand Summit for a quick walk up some stairs to access the mountain.

The Blackstone condos and townhomes are an offering that have been on the market for a number of years as they have been built in numerous phases. The initial phase was 32 townhomes either in a duplex or fourplex each offering 3 bedrooms and 1,500 square feet with two car garages.
