Three Fall Activities in Park City, Utah

Autumn’s cool air and the crimson leaves in Park City create an atmosphere and landscape that everyone should experience. Both the historic city and the vast mountain country give you scenes that belong in a painting! As the days get colder and the nights get longer, there are so many fun and seasonal activities to get you into the fall spirit, but here are some of our favorites that are exclusive to Park City:

1. Hot Air Ballooning

There are several options for hot air balloon excursions, but whatever company you choose to go with will be sure to fulfil all of your wildest dreams! The trips last about an hour and are the perfect option for a group activity or a romantic memory for two. And fall is the best time to hot air balloon: the bold leaves create a colorful glow on the ground that is beautiful to experience from above. You’ll be given unforgettable views of Kamas Valley and the Wasatch Mountains that will make you glad you checked this off your bucket list in Utah.

2. Park City Ghost Tours

With Halloween on the way, Park City can help you get into the spooky spirit with its signature Park City Ghost Tours. Beginning on Main Street each night at 8pm, these tours give you a walking experience of the most haunted buildings in Park City. You’ll hear 15 real life ghost stories that have been uncovered and well-researched within the last twelve years. This is a one-of-a-kind activity to learn more about the paranormal activity in Utah, whether or not you believe in ghosts! Reservations need to be made 24-hours in advance; tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 16 years and younger.

3. Extreme Tubing

The Utah Olympic Park is a unique location that offers tubing even without the snow! The park is set up with a state-of-the-art hill and landing that is constructed to slide just like snow. This activity is weather dependent, of course, but once it snows, you can go snow tubing at the same place. Utah Olympic Park provides the perfect activities for families or large groups, regardless of weather! Access to extreme tubing is included in the Jumpside Pass; however, single activity tickets are available in-person depending on the current venue occupancy status. So don’t rule out tubing just because the weather is nice!
