Lake Creek| Heber City , Utah
Like the neighboring Greener Hills area of Heber City, the largely undeveloped area of Lake Creek is celebrated for its endless views and sense of space while still being only moments from the heart of quickly growing Heber City. Located just 5 miles to the west of Heber City, Lake Creek is also conveniently less than a 20 minute drive to the world-class summer and winter activities of Historic Park City with its shops and outlets, bars and restaurants, galleries and museums, and seasonal concert series.
Lake Creek homes offer a unique opportunity to live fully immersed in nature. Not only do they boast stunning views of the Heber Valley and the awe-inspiring Timpanogos Mountains and the graceful Wasatch Range, they also enjoy an unmatched sense of open space and pure, clear mountain air. A close by river and stream meander past and nearby to the east beckons a national forest. Wildlife also abounds here from elk to deer and even the occasionally sighted bear. Existing houses in Lake Creek are very large single family homes, often exceeding 5,000 square feet and generally built in a mountain contemporary style. Naturally, most homes are built on very large lots – often in excess of three acres in size. Here you can live wholly in the country yet within no more than a ten minute drive to nearby Heber City and its well-regarded public schools. Within the Wasatch School District are four K-4 elementary schools, Timpanogos Intermediary School for Grades 5-6, Rocky Mountain Middle School for Grades 7-8 and Wasatch High School. Younger students from the Lake Creek area are likely to attend the either the Old Mill Elementary School or the J.R. Smith Elementary School, both of which are approximately 5 miles away.
